The new Jeep Grand Cherokee comes standard with 8.4 inches of ground clearance, and four-wheel drive is available in each model for exceptional off-road capability. Three optional four-wheel drive systems, an available Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension, and an optional Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System enable the Grand Cherokee to go almost anywhere. You can also tow a boat or camper on your excursions with the new Grand Cherokee, which has a 7,200-pound tow rating when properly equipped.
You'll enjoy a calm, quiet ride in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, thanks to its well-tuned independent suspension. It comes standard with a 293-horsepower V6 engine that makes 257 pound-feet of torque, but two other powertrains are available, including:
- 5.7-liter 357-horsepower V8 engine
- A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that produce a combined 375 horsepower (4xe)
All the Grand Cherokee's engines mate with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, but four-wheel drive is available. Grand Cherokee 4xe versions with the plug-in hybrid engine earn 56 MPG-equivalent in combined city/highway driving.
